Second edition of the Edmark Reading Program uses a sequenced, highly repetitive word recognition method combined with errorless learning. Program may be used as the sole reading program for many students with a variety of differences and disabilities, or it may be used as a supplement to other reading programs. Provides repeated encounters with 150 frequently seen sight words (K-1) & three word endings (-s,-ed,-ing). Students use newly learned words in a variety of reading activities, which include matching pictures to words, using manipulatives, reading story books, practicing spelling and writing, and playing interactive card & board games for reinforcement of word recognition and comprehension.
