Weeding is an essential, continuous component of collection maintenance in libraries. Permanently removing media materials ensures the media collections’ viability, relevance, overall health, as well as maximizes the usefulness of materials to support the diverse needs of students and educators in the Keystone AEA service area. Any weeded materials claimed by Keystone AEA patrons are delivered and no longer the responsibility of the Agency.
