Classroom set of 12 stereoscopes (2-eyepiece microscopes), also called dissecting microscopes, often used to study the surfaces of solid specimens or to carry out close work, such as, dissection, microsurgery, sorting, small circuit board inspection. These stereo microscopes have 20X magnification and 3-way, low-power illumination, a reversible black/white stage plate, and a frosted glass stage plate. Each microscope comes with manual, power cord, and carrying case. Restricted to grades 4 and up. Purchased by Riceville High School Agricultural Education program with Perkins Funds (2009-2011) as part of the Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) project.
