Provides 10-15 minutes of supplementary math instruction per day. Uses a bulletin board calendar, counting tape, and other elements that change throughout the year such as clocks, coin counters, and graphs while discussing data from the bulletin board for a few minutes a day. Students analyze data, perceive patterns, explore mathematical relationships, and communicate their thinking. Kit is most appropriate for the building level since activities provide continuous learning experiences throughout the school year and is organized by months. Teacher's guide presents the focus of the activities, materials, overview, updating procedure, discussion suggestions and hints to use throughout each month. Contents: teacher's guide, operator's manual/getting started guide, calendar and calendar pieces, depositor boxes, clock, demo coins, hundred chart, booklet of reproducibles, and play money.
