A comprehensive assessment and curriculum designed for use with children birth to six who are blind or visually impaired. The OR Project has two parts: The Skills Inventory and the manual. Skills Inventory is an assessment with six sections covering the major developmental areas and two specialized sections unique to children with visual impairments: Compensatory Skills and Vision Skills. The Skills Inventory is a criterion-referenced tool and cannot be used as a normative assessment instrument. Inventory consists of 835 behavioral statements organized into eight areas: Cognitive, Language, Social, Vision, Compensatory, Self-Help, Fine Motor, and Gross Motor. Includes teaching activities that correspond to the developmental skills.
