RAVLT is a neuropsychological test used to evaluate verbal learning and memory, including proactive inhibition, retroactive inhibition, retention, encoding versus retrieval, and subjective organization. Assessment instrument for ages 7-89 uses a fixed order word list. This 15-item word list is presented five times. Responses are recorded after each trial.
