LET-II measures visual and auditory information processing characteristics of students age 5 through older adult. Tests include Visual Memory and Auditory Memory. Each modality test is comprised of six subtests measuring ordered and unordered recall, with varying types and degrees of verbal interference presented. Yields information about a person's preferred modality for learning, the impact of verbal interference on storage and retrieval, and the kinds of metacognitive strategies used during learning. LET-II is useful when identifying learning problems related to sequential processing deficits, assessing the effects of injury on information processing, evaluating memory loss, or developing individual educational programs for atypical learners. Administration time is 10-15 minutes. Contents: manual, stimulus card book, and record forms. Circulation restricted to Keystone AEA Special Education staff. | |
