This kit contains multiple books that have been adapted for students with significant disabilities as well as access to a slides presentation used for professional development. In the enclosed presentation participants learn that books should stay in their true form unless a student cannot access the book either because of physical barriers or because of content barriers. The preview kit offers level III special education teachers the opportunity to learn how to adapt a book and see examples of adapted literature to meet student needs and improve quality of life through literature experiences.
