HeadMouse® Extreme replaces the standard computer mouse for people who cannot use or have limited use of their hands when controlling a computer or alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) device. The HeadMouse Extreme emulates a USB computer mouse so no special software is required for HeadMouse to move the cursor. HeadMouse Extreme is an external device allowing a user to move a mouse cursor by tracking a reflective dot. However, an external switch (that can be attached to the HeadMouse extreme) or dwell software is needed to perform mouse actions. This computer is equipped with DwellClick a Mac application that allows for hands free mouse click activations. The HeadMouse Extreme kit contains the Help menu for using and configuring DwellClick. On the computer’s desktop are PDF versions of the HeadMouse Extreme Manual, and the DwellClick Help Manual. In addition to the manuals there is also a link on the desktop to a YouTube video showing some of the basics for using DwellClick. Alternate Access. Switches.
