Kit contains five babies (3 girls & 2 boys). Infant simulator provides teens with realistic experience in caring for an infant and demonstrates the demands of parenting. The instructor can choose the care schedule and level of difficulty. Control Center software allows programming of multiple babies at once. Information is transferred wirelessly with a Communication Pod or X-stick when it's within 50 feet of Baby. Care events including feeding, burping, rocking, and diaper changing. The Baby makes lifelike sounds (5 different cries, coos, etc.) when it needs care, is neglected, or is receiving care. Sensors detect rough handling and neglect. The microcontroller inside the simulator records the types of caregiver contact. New in the RealCare Baby 3: Data is recorded when clothing is changed & Baby records surrounding temperature. KM is restricted to AEA Staff, Health Educators, School Nurses and Family Consumer Science Educators. IL 9-12. | |
